Sometimes. Do so at your risk. Many of the merchants who rent space become friends and WILL say good things about you and your products.
We caution them not to speak in depth about anything they are not contracted or legal able to discuss.
For example, giving health, legal, accounting or other professional advice IS PROHIBITED and grounds for termination of the sublease agreement.
That said - if your friendly next door neighbor wants to say things like, "I love the smell of her candles...I bought 3 of those t-shirts for my kids...the website she designed for me helped my business" etc... that's allowed.
